The topics of the conference focused on two distinct areas. On the one hand, integrated fire management, focusing on planning, prevention, presuppression and suppression, post-fire intervention and technological innovation. But on the other hand, also fire risk governance, seeking the involvement and participation of all parties involved, working on perceptions and ways of communicating.

Our team at TEP, took an the approach with an interactive stand, where we carried out activities to solve practical cases using a sand table, demonstrating TEP's way of thinking, how we answer key questions and how we look beyond the head of the fire, looking for real opportunities to take action.

We also met representatives from different parts of the world, we reunited with some of our instructors and collaborators, and we even had the opportunity to meet many of our students in person.

Over the course of the four days, several of our instructors had the opportunity to give lectures, such as Marc Castellnou, from Catalonia, who spoke in the pre-suppression and suppression session, explaining the characteristics of the wildfires we are facing, and commented: "The rules of the game have changed" and therefore, "we have to train firefighters to make decisions within these new scenarios".

Also, we would like to highlight and congratulate another of our instructors, Fabio Silva, from Portugal, who was recognised as an early career professional, who has demonstrated outstanding ability in the field of wildland fire operations.

Thank you all for sharing a moment with us and see you in a future edition!
